A UC Berkeley Public Health spotlight features research co-authored by Arthur Reingold and Charles Whittaker on innovative models for combatting Ebola outbreaks. Led by postdoctoral scholars Jacob N. Stapley and Youngsuk Ko, the study examines how the rapid delivery and strategic prioritization of targeted post-exposure prophylactic (PEP) antiviral medications can significantly reduce mortality among frontline healthcare workers.
