Gregory Barton receives 2026 Lupus Insight Prize

CEND Affiliate and MCB Faculty Gregory Barton has been awarded the 2026 Lupus Insight Prize from the Lupus Research Alliance in recognition of his groundbreaking research on immune regulation and autoimmune disease. Barton, along with collaborator Olivia Majer of Cincinnati Children’s Hospital, was recognized for discoveries revealing how UNC93B1 regulates TLR7 signaling, providing new insights into the immune pathways involved in lupus. Their work advances our understanding of disease mechanisms and may help guide the development of future therapeutic approaches for autoimmune conditions. Learn more here.
