Five MCB faculty honored by ASCB

UC Berkeley’s Department of Molecular and Cell Biology celebrates Daniel Fletcher and Matthew Welch for being recognized among the 2026 American Society for Cell Biology (ASCB) award recipients. Dr. Fletcher was named an ASCB Fellow, while Welch received the Sandra Masur Senior Leadership Award, honoring their significant contributions to the field of cell biology and their leadership within the scientific community.
