Bakar Labs set to launch largest climate tech incubator

Bakar Labs at UC Berkeley is expanding its mission with Bakar Climate Labs, a new west campus hub poised to become the world’s largest climate tech incubator, housed in the forthcoming Bakar ClimatEnginuity Hub. With the involvement of CEND affiliated faculty, the facility will nurture 50–60 startups developing solutions in renewable energy, carbon capture, and sustainable materials, while giving students hands-on experience in scaling technologies that address the climate crisis.
